The Health Freedom Expo returns to Chicago
on June 27-29. This year features an outstanding
line-up of many local, national and international speakers,
dynamic workshops and seminars, and also showcases a diverse
group of alternative and natural healthcare exhibitors.
What makes this Expo different is that
it’s supported
by a not-for-profit lobbying group that works year round to
protect consumers’ rights, defends practitioners who
use natural and nutritional cures, and lobbies against laws
which remove the individual’s freedom to make informed
healthcare choices.
Held at the beautiful Renaissance Schaumburg
Hotel and Convention Center, the Chicago Health Freedom
Expo is open to the public.

Hemingway
As the granddaughter of illustrious author, Ernest Hemingway, Mariel was destined to be well-known and publicly recognized. As an Actress, her work in Woody Allen’s Manhattan earned her an Oscar nomination. She has since made 30 films and numerous television appearances including a starring role in Steven Bochco’s highly acclaimed Civil Wars.
As an Activist for healthy living over the last 22 years, she’s pursued her passion for yoga and health and is now considered the voice of holistic and balanced living. As part of that role she has lead wellness retreats all over America, sharing her insights about yoga, meditation, nutrition and home. Now at the age of 45, Mariel is a wife and mother of two, teaching them how to lead a balanced life.
As an Author, in 2003, she published her powerful bestselling memoir Finding My Balance. A truly insightful and inspiring story, the book is a portrayal of her life’s journey through the eyes of yoga and meditation. Mariel’s second book called Mariel Hemingway’s Healthy Living from the Inside Out (Harper Collins San Francisco), is a how-to guide to finding one's balance and health through self-empowering lifestyle techniques released last year. Mariel is producing documentaries that focus on spiritual and environmental issues. Additionally she is producing her grandfather’s book A Moveable Feast for film.
